WHAT IS THE FEMINIST ARCHIVES?

Feminist Archives
We provide free access to books, periodicals, articles, audiovisuals, and posters on a wide range of issues affecting women globally, particularly those in the Global South.
This unique repository of articles and materials, available in print and in digital format, are drawn from 50 years of Isis- International’s experience in documenting the actions and aspirations of women globally, creating critical communications and building feminist social movements, from the early 1970s to the ongoing activism of the present.
The Feminist Archives is a unique initiative coming from a Southern feminist organization with one-of-a-kind materials not found in libraries or institutional collections. Isis International has digitised an extensive collection of feminist and women’s resource materials in the form of books, periodicals, articles, audiovisuals, and posters dating back to the early 1970s.
